This almond soap, one of the oldest made by Santa Maria Novella, is formulated with 100% almond oil for extra softening properties. Triple milled, each soap is hand pressed one by one using 19th century equipment, aged for 60 days in ventilated cabinets, and then hand-wrapped. Exceptionally high quality, as with all SMN products, it lasts about three times longer than ordinary soap while maintaining its shape and scent. One of my favorite characteristics of the soap is its size -- there is just something about how it sits perfectly in your hand. Not too large, not too small.
