The Special Projects Series is a series of highly-curated, one-off opportunities for Hanger Project customers to participate in private sales. In my travels around the world, I have come across many incredible products that just do not fit within the scope of The Hanger Project. Instead of just passing on these incredible products, I have chosen to offer them to you (and, of course, myself!) in the form of a Special Project.
The Special Project selections are all limited edition, made-to-order items crafted by accomplished artisans. I have put special attention into managing the development and production of each item selected for a Special Project to ensure a truly unique, ultra-high quality piece. Each will be offered for a two to three-week window during which customers can commission their pieces.

Made-to-Order Alfred Sargent Shoes

Great shoes do not make the man, but they will certainly destroy a wardrobe. All-too-often overlooked, great shoes are essential to the classic wardrobe and represent one of the two last points of detail that distinguish true well-dressed gentlemen from the crowd (the other being his watch).
Handmade English shoes represent the pinnacle of shoemaking and an investment in a pair from a reputable maker should easily last longer than a decade if properly cared for. The craftsmanship of these shoes ensure that they not only continue to look better as worn, but also become infinitely more comfortable.
With this second installment of my Special Projects series, I am excited to offer you the opportunity to commission a made-to-order pair of Alfred Sargent shoes in any of four finishes – three calf skins and one suede – and two models, a Monk Strap and Punch Captoe Oxford.
The process is simple – you tell us exactly what you want, and we’ll have it made just for you. Every pair of shoes will come with a pair of Ultra shoetrees and be accompanied with a Travel Shoe Horn and matching Saphir Medialle D’Or Cream Polish. Suede shoes will come with a spray can of neutral Renovateur. Customers who purchase three or more pairs will receive a jar of Saphir Renovateur and a Full-Length Mortimer Shoehorn.
Bespoke Pearl Cufflinks

Our inaugural Special Project is a set of bespoke pearl cufflinks set in rhodium-plated sterling silver. Designed by renowned blogger Simon Compton of Permanent Style and hand crafted by an accomplished jeweler in London, these cufflinks are references back to vintage cufflinks made to bygone standards.
