Experts know that the secret to efficient ironing and a crisp press is in the steam. Steam is used to soften fabric fibers, while the weight of the iron shapes the fabric and the heat drys the steam. Crisp pressing and efficient shaping are done easily when you have plenty of steam and a high-quality iron. The IronMaven J420 is a step-up from the Digital Velocity V100. The separate 5-cup reservoir guarantees over an hour of unlimited steam.

	REMOVABLE IRON REST The IronMaven J420 is equipped with a removable iron rest that allows you to place the iron in a convenient and comfortable spot right on your ironing board surface.

	EASY TO USE PANEL Easy to use panel functions include power switches for the boiler and iron, a low water indicator to tell you it's time to refill the tank, and a power on/off indicator light.

	CONVENIENT CORD STORAGE A convenient wrap around cord storage is standard on the IronMaven J420.

	DUAL SAFETY AND FILL CAP The J420 uses a dual function safety / fill cap. A funnel is also supplied to allow of easy filling of the tank.

	PROFESSIONAL CORK HANDLE Like all of our IronMaven ironing stations, we use only natural cork for our handles. Cork is still the #1 choice for professionals because of its resistance to heat and longevity.

	ALUMINUM SOLEPLATE The J420 uses an easy to clean aluminum soleplate with holes at the tip for maximum steam penetration. Additionally, Reliable does not use any "400-hole Microsteam" gimmicks. The professionals know that you first point the steam (which is why a few steam holes are located at the tip of the iron) and then dry the steam with the remaining portion of the soleplate. If there were holes on the end of the sole plate, you would always leave steam in the garment, thereby allowing wrinkles to reform. To maximize the evacuation of steam for an even more incredible press, we highly-recommend using our Vacuum Ironing Board.
