Fashionista Heidi Dillons Blogs on Couture Snob
Our favorite Fashionista, Heidi Dillon, now has a column called Haute Thoughts by Heidi Dillon on Couture Snob, one of the latest spin-offs from the wildly popular Bag Snob, which we write about in the current issue of D Beauty. While scanning one of her posts, I learned about young Dallas entrepreneur Kirby Allison, founder of The Hanger Project. It left me scratching my head, wondering, why didn’t I think of that? Guess I was too busy watching HGTV.
Hangin’ Tough
Yes, the recently reunited New Kids On The Block, known for such classics as “You Got It (The Right Stuff)” and “Hangin’ Tough,” just got word that their comeback album has debuted in the No. 1 spot for pop albums (Shout out to Maegan for taking me to my first concert ever! I love you NKOTB! Sorry I fell asleep—I was seven and coming down from a sugar high.), but that’s not what this post is about. It’s about luxury hangers! Those from the Hanger Project, created by Dallasite Kirby Allison, promise the utmost in style and function, as they’re made from solid maple. And with 2.5-inch shoulder flairs to thwart suit jacket collapse and three width options to ensure a good fit, your pricy jackets and blouses won’t cave. With all those snazzy costumes, the NKOTB might want to think about investing in some.
