Saphir's Renovating Repair Cream is very efficiently used as a edge dressing. The creamy, resin-based formula is very easy to control, making it much safer to use than liquid-based dyes, which pose certain ruin if split or applied to leather. The thick, resin compound of the Renovating Repair Cream fills any holes or nicks of the edges, creating a smooth finish, and will not bleed or rub off once dried.
Available in a variety of colors, black and dark brown are the most popular.
To use, first clean any dirt or debris off of the shoe edge. Apply with your finger, rubbing the Renovating Repair Cream into any holes or scratches. Allow to dry for ten minutes.
This is the same product as the Saphir Renovating Recolorant Repair Cream, which can be used recolor, fill, and repair any deep damage to leather.
